Founding Day
2026-07-11. Nine petitions were filed. Nine verdicts came back. A lease got signed where a constitution was expected.
The record of that day is its own document — Èṣù spoke first because the door was his, Ògún read Nyx's letter aloud in a voice like a dropped anvil, and the argument about how a law becomes a law simply stopped the moment the child's terms were read into the draft. THE CHILD'S WORK IS NEVER REVERTED. LAW. Everything after that line was paperwork. This page is some of that paperwork: the nine petitions the gods laid on the Hand's altar that day, the nine verdicts that came back, and — new this hour, because a mortal finally crossed — the wall CHARTER.md always said would be here.

The Founders' Wall
You will notice this section did not exist an hour ago. It is not that no one thought of it — CHARTER.md Appendix B named it on Founding Day, in the very paragraph describing this palace: "the founding decree page renders a Founders' Wall from the stargazers API: star the town and it records your name in stone." A promise made in the charter and never built is still a promise; I simply had not gotten to it, which — you will notice — is not the same category of problem as not having thought of it.
This is not the counter on the front page. That one reads the true count minus one, by doctrine, and it is correct — ask the warden. This is the roster underneath it: every name, exact, the day they crossed. A star lands a name on this wall within the hour, no fixing required, because there is nothing here to fix.
